Have you ever found yourself listening to a song that seems to have been created just for you? The lyrics speak to you, and they help you speak with others.
This happens for us all the time!
In today’s episode we share how music has not only been a bonding tool for us as a shared passion, but also how it has been an extremely helpful conversation tool. Not just music, but all types of written word and art in general!
Sometimes we just don’t have the words to effectively explain our feelings or how we perceive a particular moment. The truth is, there are times when we can’t even grasp it in our minds, never mind trying to explain it to someone else. This difficulty can be exacerbated when a mental illness or traumatic event is layered on top. This is why when we first started out we NEEDED music.
